Well this nifty little Kindle Waterproof Cover actually fits a wide range of ebook readers so its suitable for all the smaller models of device including the iLiad, Bookeen, cybook , Cooler, Kindle and Sony readers.
Three airtight seals (akin to ziplock bags) provide a secure waterproof interior. These are then covered by a firm plastic bar with snap fastening so that you cannot accidentally open the seals. With a long carry cord it is a convenient way of protecting your reader on the go.
All the materials are high quality aquatic grade so the waterproof covers won’t deteriorate too.
There are a few drawbacks though. Whilst the plastic is easy to read through and flexible enough to allow easy control of the device, you may find the joystick a little more difficult to use. This simply means that whilst reading a book in the bath is perfectly okay, you probably wouldn’t want to be reading something like an e-newspaper, that requires more joystick control, all day. The second drawback is that these simply don’t look fantastic. But then they are practical Kindle Covers not designer ones.
For us, owning one of these, easy to roll up and store Kindle Waterproof Covers is an absolute must with holiday times approaching, but we still would not be without something a little more attractive to cover our Kindle around town!
